The Couple & The Witness or Scribe by Gail Altschuler.
Inspired by Egyptian sculptures from the British Museum. Gail Altschuler’s vase is created using the Mishima inlay technique. Lines are scribed into the unfired porcelain, and filled with an underglaze. The surface is then sanded back to reveal the drawing beneath. The final firing with transparent glaze means the vessel can hold water.
This Porcelain Vessel is 16cm tall x 8 cm wide.
