The Jacquard Haori Kimono Jacket was crafted in the 1920-30’s. The pattern features clouds made from flowers (rose, chrythanthemum, hydransia). The jacquard is geometric tortoise shell which symbolizes longevity, and seawave motifs which represents infinity.
The jacket is crafted from kinsa, one of highest quality silk jacquard textile. The Kinsa is known for its soft and slightly shiny texture. Both sides are silk, seamless and all hand sewn, it can be reversible. Japanese kimono lovers also wear haori inside out for fun or casual occasions.
