Michèle Oberdieck’s Sheltering Sky vessel is hand crafted using mouth blown glass techniques. The biomorphic form is created by shaping the glass by hand, whilst it is is still hot and malleable. This burgundy vessel measures H.28 x W.17 x D.8cm.
Inspired by natural forms and organic structures, Michèle Oberdieck explores balance and asymmetry through her vessels. By creating a three-dimensional form as a gesture or expression, a narrative is created.
