Objet d’Emotion created a perfume of its candle Peau-ème in collaboration with scent artist Jonathan Ward, inspired by Valery’s childhood memories.
Her paternal grandmother Marie-Louise’s perfume: Valery remembers sneaking into her bedroom and spraying her neck pressing that pretty little pump, thinking this would go unnoticed. She would wander around, leaving a rose scented trail behind her… And her lovely Persian friend at school with her colourful shawl carrying a delicate saffron scent… And the spicy fragrance of the white pepper her grandfather loved to scatter on his food, that remained on the tips of his fingers.
A scent creates emotions and brings back memories, Valery has been dreaming for years to create her own perfume, an ode to perfumed skin and to cherished memories.
