Gail Altschuler’s ‘Motherhood and Childhood III’ is part of a series of vessels depicting mothers and children.
Created using the Mishima inlay technique, Gail inscribes the surface of the porcelain before filling with an underglaze. The surface is then scraped away to reveal her engraved drawing.
This vessel holds water and measures 16 x 8 cm.
