This black vase with hand painted white flowers was carefully crafted by Noa in her East London Studio.
Noa Weintraub’s ceramic practice references craft practices that are historically associated with femininity, such as lace making, cake decoration and baking. Drawing inspiration from flora and fauna, Noa treats the clay like canvas, using it as a surface to explore ideas and ideals surrounding femininity. It is, as she says, “a nod to women not being as delicate and ornamental as they may appear or be perceived”
