Three Hopi Women at Top of Adobe Steps, New Mexico, 1906 by Edward Sheriff Curtis. The work of this American photographer and ethnologist focused on the American West and on Native American peoples. In 1906, J. P. Morgan provided Curtis with $75,000 to produce a series on Native Americans. Curtis received no salary for the project, which was to last more than 20 years. Though Curtis was largely forgotten at the time of his death in 1952, interest in his work revived and continues to this day. #objet_d_emotion…#valerydemure#jewellery#fashionjewelry#finejewellery#contemporarydesign#jewelry#finejewelry#art#modernart#sculpture#luxury#objetdemotion#handmade#instagood#designerjewellery#fashionjewellery#fineart#jewellerycollector#jewelrycollector#preciousstone#diamonds#silver#abstractart#jewel#jewels#artisan#abstract#craftsmanship#gold
