Surreal, plastic and really rather fantastic: that’s Antonio Marguet‘s photography. I love his irreverent approach as Fine jewellery is too often shot within a rather conventional setting. His work tends towards pure aesthetic weirdness. This grey marble ring by Ioanna Souflia showcased with the grey bubble-gum “slime” looks intriguing and unexpectedly absurd. Marguet attributes having grown up around his father’s bubblegum factory, to his fascination with sculpting objects and experimenting with matter from the plastic to the cultural. #objet_d_emotion
