Hum

Hum is born from the collaboration between designers, Tomohiro Sadakiyo & Yuka Inanuma. "The first thing that truly captivated us was the desire to manipulate metal freely to express our vision." Their deep appreciation for heritage Japanese craft techniques led them to design jewellery.

Much of their inspiration draws from history and anthropology and the relationship between societal structures and material culture. Their approach to design is through the making itself, experimenting with new techniques before creating jewellery that harnesses each unique process .

Based in their Tokyo atelier, the designers work closely with the artisans, examining each sample in detail for wearability, balance, look and feel.
