These reversible earrings by Catherine’s contrast colour. Their half moon forms are made from steel, covered in gold leaf on the front, and patinated black on the back. The ear post are made form 18 karat gold. These earrings come in another version, where the half moon forms are silver on the front, and coated in gold leaf on the reverse side. The ear post are made form 18 karat gold.
Catherine Le Gal’s simple forms are a canvas for her exploration of texture. Surfaces are oxidised, scratched and sanded, creating pieces that appear timeworn.
