[Personal touch] Last weekend whilst in Paris, I visited the Musee departmental Albert Kahn, that reopened on 2nd of April, after a few years of being closed for renovations.Banker, humanist, patron, Albert Kahn dreamed of a dialogue between people and harmony between civilizations. His dream takes shape over four hectares in his former Boulogne property. Japanese, English and French gardens, flowers and fruit trees form a poetic haven around the museum. Every year there is an exhibition drawing on his archives from around the world, a collection of 72 000 colour photographs and 180 000 metres of silents films, taken all over the world. His photographers captured a mood of everyday life, the trivial and ordinary moments in life. Through these buried moments and with the tool of photography, Kahn wanted to display the rapid transitory and fleeting aspect of societies of the time. His ambitious project, The Archives of the Planet was aimed to preserve the memory of the world. A must visit when you are in Paris.#ValeryDemure #ObjetdEmotion #jewellery #Luxury #finejewellery #designerjewellery #jewellerycollector #MaryleboneLife #ChilternStreet #BlandfordStreet #Marylebone #London #Inspiration #Paris
