Frances Priest collaborated with Objet d’Emotion for PAD London 2019, creating a beautiful collection of vase and drum forms. The surface pattern designs reflect Frances’ dialogue with Objet d’Emotion founder, Valery Demure, collaging together a collection of ornamental motifs, chevron, stripes, and Asanoha, that have all previously featured in her work. Responding to the Objet d’Emotion colour palette, Frances has pushed it in a very bold direction to highlight tones of the rich coral and ochre, contrasted against the soft grey and dense black. Playing with the surface finish of the black and grey, placing matt vitreous slip and glossy glaze together, the pieces have a glint and sparkle as they catch the light.Frances's work is available via the Objet d'Emotion online gallery within our selection of Objects. Her work is also presented via the PAD digital platform. For enquires please contact concierge@objetdemotion.com.
